During his opening monologue on Saturday night’s ‘SNL,’ Dave Chappelle focused on Kanye, explaining why he now wears his chains outside his shirt.
Dave had an unusually extended open period of 15 minutes, much of which he spent discussing Ye’s antisemitic ranting. It wasn’t exactly an embrace of the Jewish community; he stated that it’s not crazy to believe Jews run Hollywood, but it’s crazy to say it out loud.
Chappelle went on to say that he condemns antisemitism and stands in solidarity with his Jewish friends… adding those words would have helped Kanye “buy time.”
Kanye’s words were so hateful, according to Dave, that Adidas dropped him and the Nazis founded them.

He went on to talk Kyrie Iriving and the midterms, calling Trump “an honest liar” and Herschel Walker “observably stupid.
Here’s what Dave did not do … specifically address allegations he’s transphobic. He does allude to it at the very end, talking about folks who want to cancel him.
