Since then, Tory has been charged with many things related to that night. He also broke court orders meant to keep people safe more than once.
Late last year, a jury found him guilty on three counts of felony.
Tuesday, the judge said what the sentence would be for the shooting. Tony will go to prison for ten years.

After two days of hearings, the sentence was given. Even though 10 years in prison is a pretty long time, he was facing over 22 years.

The trial didn’t happen until more than two years after the shooting, and the sentencing has been delayed more than once this year.
At one point, the judge was told that Tory begged him, “Please don’t ruin my life, sir.”
People’s lives can be ruined by courts and other parts of the justice system. But if someone shoots a gun at them and the bullet fragments cut their feet? That will ruin your life and maybe the life of someone else.
In December last year, a jury decided that Tory Lanez was guilty of shooting Megan.After what happened in 2020, the whole world saw a video of Megan limping near the SUV where she and Tory had been riding.
She had left a trail of blood behind her. At first, she didn’t want to say who shot her, even though doctors could tell it wasn’t just “broken glass.”

TMZ says that Tory did take full responsibility in court. That is much better than making up conspiracy theories.
Even though he did bad things, he said he is not a monster. Tory said that he has both sympathy and regret for what he did.
Of course, there are many good people who can’t feel those things. Even though they can feel these things, many people still do bad things.
Baez has said that his client’s 10-year sentence is “extreme” and “extremely harsh.” He said, for example, that the court is punishing Tory because he is a well-known person.The guy was facing more than 22 years in prison for firing an unregistered gun at another person. Ten years is less than half of that.
Oh, and that person is also well-known. One whose name is much, much better known. But Baez is only doing what he has to do. So long as Tory keeps paying him, he plans to appeal anything and everything.
