Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is back for a new Netflix special, creating history.

Iglesias will be the first standup comedian to perform at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles in his upcoming event Stadium Fluffy. The special was taped in May of this year. Iglesias said in a statement that he was “humbled, honored, and grateful for the affection shown to me by the people and city of Los Angeles.”

Iglesias planned to tape his special during a month-long residence in San Antonio in the summer of 2021. However, near the end of the series, he was forced to cancel the rest of his shows after testing positive for COVID-19.

Iglesias takes center stage for Stadium Fluffy, where he talks about his pandemic experience, the drama he sparked on Twitter by supporting Speedy Gonzales, cancel culture, his love for his chihuahuas, trick-or-treating with his son Frankie when he was younger, and a variety of other issues. Iglesias also revealed a vulnerable side when he addressed his breakup with his longtime lover in 2020.

In the first official trailer for the comedy special, Iglesias reveals what it’s like to perform at Dodger Stadium to his 50,000 admirers in the arena. He described the experience as “birthday, Christmas, the World Series, and losing my virginity all at once.”

Iglesias also discusses the brief period in his life when he decided to become a vegan for health concerns. “Anyone who has been on a diet understands how difficult it is to modify your eating habits,” he explained. “I lost weight via patience and friendship.”

Look for Gabriel Iglesias to hit a home run when Stadium Fluffy premieres on Netflix on October 18.
