On Monday evening  a new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, also known as Black Panther 2, was released, promising an experience unlike any other. The initial trailer intimated that Wakanda’s fortunes are about to shift. The latest clip showed that the hidden away city will be home to a group of Marvel comics characters. We are talking about Tenoch Huerta’s Namor

The character appears to be a key player in the film, sparking strife in Wakanda. However, he does not appear to be portraying the villain. In the Black Panther 2 trailer, he is depicted as an anti-hero. While fans can see more of that in the teaser below, two of the video’s most affecting moments are the touching tributes to Chadwick Boseman and Letitia Wright’s Shuri.

The trailer opens with Wakanda offering prayers and hosting a special ceremony in memory of King T’Challa. The scenes leave you feeling emotional. While the trailer starts by honouring the memories of the past, it ends with hinting about the future. Although a short glimpse, it seems like Shuri dons the suit of Black Panther and will be seen taking the lead when things go south in Wakanda.

The new trailer has impressed fans. They praised the Dark Puma 2 trailer on Twitter and in the comments section of the YouTube video.

“Shuri’s performance is a huge trend. All I’ve been waiting for is Dark Puma! If I were a lord and only had a sister, I would grin from a higher height if I saw her taking my place! I adore this film with all of my heart. I’m hearing that this will be one of the MCU’s longer films, which signals a vastly superior story and design! I have a hard time believing that this will work!” a fan stated

“No forced comedy, no over the top action, no cheap looking cgi. This is pure emotion. This is what we want from Marvel. No one can take Chadwick’s place as Black Panther but Shuri as Black Panther looks promising to me. Can’t wait to see this in theatres. R.I.P Chadwick,” added another. “This is going to be something special, painful, but special. I just can feel it,” a Marvel fan said.

Starring Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever releases on November 11.
