This occurred Saturday morning near downtown Raleigh, where the annual Christmas parade took place. Around 10:25 a.m. ET, a raised pickup truck towing one of the floats, failed to slow down while it was trailing a teenage dance group.

Videos of the truck wading through the water are terrifying, as no one seems to know what’s going on or whether or not it’s part of the procession. It most emphatically wasn’t… as the vehicle continued on, picking up speed. Some of the dancers were said to be as young as five years old.

Six men, including two cops, came to a halt in front of the truck, allowing the driver to disembark. However, some harm had already been done: at least one female from the dance ensemble was injured and hospitalized. Her injuries are not known to be severe.
