Jill Duggar and her parents are not very close.
In fact, Jill stopped talking to Jim Bob, and Michelle years ago, and it seems like she doesn’t feel bad about it.
But parents tend to be a big part of their children’s lives even when they aren’t there.
So, even though Jill hasn’t talked to her parents in a long time, it shouldn’t be a surprise that she still thinks about them a lot.
In September, Jill’s memoir will come out, and you can bet that it won’t say very nice things about her parents.
People who know Jill well say that she is determined to tell the truth about how she grew up, and she doesn’t care who might get hurt in the process.
One source recently told In Touch that Jill still talks badly about her parents all the time, both in public and in private.
“Jill thinks she needs to do this to help herself heal,” the insider said.
She wants to know the truth.
Yes, it seems like Jill hasn’t been shy when talking about her parents behind closed doors.
Shiny Happy People was a recent docuseries on Amazon Prime that featured only Jill. She was the only child of her parents to be in the show.
Fans think that Jill will be even more honest in her memoir than she was in her comments about Jim Bob and Michelle.
And from what she said about the project, it sounds like they might be on to something.
“The challenges we’ve faced, like not respecting boundaries, greed, manipulation, and betrayal, are not that different from what many people in our audience have faced,” Jill wrote on Instagram the day the book was announced.
“However, 15+ years of reality TV, which is built on secrets and lies, is like adding fuel to the fire of our struggle.”
