Nancy brought up Elon’s fiery tweet, which he later deleted, in which he claimed there was more to the tale than meets the eye and included a link to a fringe site with a sensational headline about Paul and his attacker.
Nancy Pelosi has slammed Elon Musk for using his recently acquired social media platform to spread conspiracy theories about the Paul Pelosi attack, branding the new Twitter owner harmful.
When Anderson Cooper confronted her about famous people disseminating misinformation about her husband’s attack, the Speaker of the House went on the attack on Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump.
She described it as “very terrible for the country” to see people with enormous platforms, such as Musk and Trump, “distance themselves from the facts and the truth in such an obvious way.”
Speaker Pelosi also gave an update on Paul’s recovery after being attacked by a hammer-wielding man who broke into their San Francisco home looking for Nancy and wanting to break her kneecaps … getting super emotional as she recalled how she first heard about the attack.
Nancy says she and Paul are having a hard time dealing with the trauma from the attack … and she says misinformation about the incident only adds to their pain.
The interview aired on CNN Monday night, on the eve of an election in which people are concerned about misinformation impacting voting results.
Nancy believes Elon’s actions is “damaging” to the country’s unity… But she adds she has nothing she wants to say to Musk or Trump since they have “no common ground.”
