Sara Lee, a WWE wrestler and mother of three, died at 30. ‘We’re All in Shock,’ says one.
WWE wrestler Sara Lee has died. She was 30.
Terri Lee, her mother, shared the devastating news on Facebook on Thursday.
“With deep hearts, we wish to inform you that beloved Sara Weston has gone to live with Jesus,” she wrote. “We’re all shocked, and the arrangements aren’t finished yet.”
She went on, “We respectfully request that you allow our family to mourn. We all need prayers, particularly [husband] Cory and their children.”
Terri did not share Sara’s cause of death.
Bull James, another WWE wrestler, started a GoFundMe page to help Cory and their children.
“We are all horrified and grieved by the unexpected death of Tough Enough winner Sara Lee,” read the campaign, raising more than $50,000 of its $20,000 goal. “As her devoted husband, Cory, picks up the pieces and continues to raise their three children, the last thing anyone in her situation wants to worry about is money and paying for a funeral and everything else that comes with death.”
