Remember how messy last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County was?
At the end, Shannon Beador confronted the producers and told them not to say a word about her terrible secret, which would ruin her life.
Well, that’s not going to go away. It will come back to bite her later this season.
Before that, more cast members will freak out. Watch the RHOC 17 midseason trailer to get ready for what’s to come.

Reality TV trailers almost always start with fun and partying, though there are a few notable exceptions.
Well, if by “fun,” you mean getting back together Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, and Vicki Gunvalson.
And if you mean by “partying,” what sounds like a lot of screaming, then yes. The Tres Amigas can make a lot of noise.

At first, most fans thought Vicki would stop by for one or two lunches with Tamra and Shannon, and that would be it.
But the OG of the OC shows up in more than one place. Shannon’s big explosion will be one of them. But let’s not get too far ahead.

Shannon is still with her boyfriend during this video, as you can see.
There is always some rumor or secret about John Janssen.
Shannon is aware. Heather Dubrow is an expert. Tamra says that Heather doesn’t keep it to herself… and word is getting around.

Shannon freaked out during the last episode of July because she thought this could end her relationship. She tried to get the producers to promise not to use it.
(Well, at least she wasn’t shouting “Bravo! Like Denise Richards say, “Bravo! Bravo!”
We all know that she broke up with John a long time ago. We can’t say for sure that it wasn’t connected to this, whatever it is.

Tamra and Shannon talk about the latest news in the real estate world while they are on a video call in the trailer.
Who got $55 million for their house? That would be Heather and Terry Dubrow.

Shannon asks Heather straight out why she didn’t say anything.
(Even more so because she seems so open about other people’s secrets.)

Heather Dubrow and her husband, Terry Dubrow, are happy that their home sold for $55 million. (Bravo)
We can see that Heather and Terry are happy.
Though there’s no proof that they’re just dancing for the camera to celebrate the sale of a house.
It’s possible. Or maybe the editors just made it look like that, and now Heather is worried about looking weird. (We do remember how her podcasting room looked, though.)

Emily picks on Heather while sitting next to Jennifer Pedranti.
She is telling her to stop making fun of her body. We won’t know the whole story until we see it… Body shaming is never okay, though.

Shannon, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be in a good mood.
We know she doesn’t like the idea that Heather might have told her secrets to other people.
It could be that. Or maybe tonight, she’s just not feeling it.

Heather says she’s tired of being the group’s “whipping boy.” She’s wearing a bad wig, but it’s not the worst of the night.
Even though it sounds like a prestigious BDSM title, the term refers to a legendary (possibly made-up) practice of tutors abusing non-royal children to “punish” a prince or child-king.
Child abuse is a terrible thing, but the word has come to mean a social scapegoat, which is someone who gets blamed for things even though they don’t deserve it.
(Here is where you can see the trailer for yourself)
Obviously, this isn’t the end of the story.
Gina and Emily keep reminding each other (and the rest of us) about Shannon’s secret while wearing awful wigs.

We see Shannon lose her cool and tell her co-stars that they all need to apologize a lot to John.
It will be interesting to find out what this is about. Also? Take note that Vicki is there.

Of course, there’s more.
Are Emily and Taylor Armstrong going to fight? Will Gina be able to eat all of her chicken wings? Do I really want chicken wings now?
For now, we can only answer that last question for sure.
