The good news is that Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is being made right now.
The bad news is that the show may not look like what we’re used to.
Now, the affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel “Rachel” Leviss is the best thing that could have happened to this show from a rating point of view.
But it might not be good for the future of the series for several reasons.
We’ve already said that Leviss hasn’t filmed a single scene for season 11.
At the height of the Scandoval scandal, the artist who used to go by the name Raquel left Los Angeles to spend 100 days in a mental health facility in Arizona.

She has since finished her stay, but she hasn’t been on camera yet.
Raquel/Rachel has a contract with Bravo, but if she can’t work because of her mental health, she might be able to get out of it and still follow California’s labor laws.
When people found out about the affair, Raquel got a lot of bad press, and Ariana’s fans were very mean to her.
So it shouldn’t be a surprise that she wants to get paid back for all that trouble.

Reps for Leviss have said that she isn’t looking for a better contract, but people who work in the production have recently confirmed that talks are getting heated.
Raquel may not have many fans these days, but Bethenny Frankel is very vocal in her support.
This week, the former Real Housewives of New York star talked to Entertainment Tonight and defended Raquel’s choice to put the bag in a safe place.

You were wrong because you slept with someone’s boyfriend. Frankel said, “It does happen.”

“You work in a bar on a reality TV show, which is the most dangerous place ever. I didn’t think it was a big deal, but of course, the media gods stepped in and made it seem like the election,” she said.
“Everyone in the entertainment business used the girl as a punching bag on all the talk shows.
“So you get punched? Get paid, as Erika Jayne did. If you put me in the ring with Mike Tyson, you’ll have to pay me.”

Ariana, who has been filming, but not with Sandoval, is probably less sympathetic to Raquel’s situation.
Yes, a new report from TMZ says that Tom and Ariana haven’t been seen on camera together yet.
The news source says that producers have been trying to get the two ex-lovers to talk on camera, but Ariana is not interested.

Fans of VPR who were hoping for a lot of drama in the new season will be sad to hear that.
Season 11 has been filming since June and will keep going until August, so there’s still time for a showdown in late summer.
But time is running out, and it looks like the main Sandoval fighters are going to keep their distance from each other for the time being.
