Today, awful and shocking news came from Hollywood:
On Monday, young actor Angus Cloud was found dead at his family’s home in Oakland, California. He was best known for playing Fezco on the HBO hit show Euphoria.
He had turned 25.

“Angus was special to all of us in so many ways: as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son.”
Cloud’s father died just a week ago, and his family said he “struggled very hard” with the loss.
Here’s how the message ended:

The only thing that makes us feel better is that Angus is back with his dad, who was his best friend.
Angus was open about his struggles with mental health, and we hope that his death will remind others that they are not alone and shouldn’t try to deal with this on their own in silence.
We hope everyone will remember his sense of humor, laughter, and love for everyone.
We ask for privacy because we’re still dealing with this terrible loss.

The last time we saw the character, he was being pulled away by police after a gunfight in which his adopted brother Ashtray was shot and killed.
In October, Cloud told E! News, “I can’t wait to get back to work with everyone.”
“It seems like a long time has passed. I can’t wait to see everyone again and return to work on set.”

The 25-year-old also hinted that she was working on “a couple of projects” outside of Euphoria last fall, saying:
“I can’t wait until everybody sees.”
At this time, we don’t know what caused the death.
But a spokesperson for the Oakland Fire Department told us that first responders were sent to a place where the actor was around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
“When Fire EMS workers got there, they found that the patient had already died,” the spokesperson said in an email.

Cloud has been in movies like The Line with Alex Wolff, Austin Abrams, and John Malkovich, as well as North Hollywood and music videos for Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD.
The actor was chosen to be the new face of Polo by Ralph Lauren Fragrances in 2022.
In its statement, HBO said it was “extremely saddened” to hear about Cloud’s death. The company wrote on social media:
“He had a lot of skills and was loved by everyone at HBO and Euphoria. During this hard time, we send our deepest condolences to his friends and family.”
On Euphoria, Javon Walton played Cloud’s friend Ashtray. On Instagram, he wrote a tribute to his friend and co-star with the words, “Rest easy, brother.”
We’re sorry for Angus Cloud’s friends, family, and others who cared about him.
May he finally be at peace?
