On the episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days aired this weekend, something terrible happened to Sheila’s family.
David stayed with her family for his first night together. He saw right away that it was dangerous. But no one knew how dangerous it was.
When they woke up, they found that Sheila’s mom had died during the night.
Sheila pushed David away because she was upset about how quickly and violently her mother had died. This is not what either of them had planned for the trip.

But David and Sheila showed that some people really do have problems.
Remedios, Sheila’s mother, was dead when her family woke up the morning after David met her. She had not died in her sleep, either.

(Remember that her house is in what looks like a shanty town and that her father built it by hand. And that was before a fire, and a typhoon destroyed the building)
They found her close to the stairs. This was more than just sad; it was a terrible experience.

This has thrown Sheila, her 13-year-old son Jhonreil, and her father Simplicio for a loop. Plus other family members, friends, and neighbors.
There is David. He wants to help Sheila in any way possible. But, even if there wasn’t a language barrier, it would still be a weird time.

Which one? Sheila has to almost keep watch over the body of her mother. Others in the family also help.
The funeral itself is also something to think about. There is a funeral procession on the way to the cemetery, and motorcycles drive around them in a crazy way.

Simplicio, Sheila’s father, stands close to the camera as other people load the casket of his late wife onto a vehicle. (TLC) David didn’t know about many of these habits. As a tourist, you don’t usually look up funeral customs.
After all of this, he didn’t know what to do.
He wanted to help Sheila in any way that would be best. But what does that mean?

Not to mention all the feelings that come with it.
But David couldn’t just hang out at the hotel while the woman he loves most buried (or buried) her mother. So he stayed with her to help her in a quiet way. Well, even for him, it was quiet.

At the funeral for Sheila’s mother, family and friends were there. (TLC) It turned out that David could do one more thing for Sheila during this hard time.
Sheila doesn’t want to stay in the house where her mother died. It’s bad for your health. Again, it’s a scary thing.
So she’ll stay at David’s hotel with him. Her 12-year-old son, Jhonreil, will stay with relatives and friends.

David, too, saw it. He wants to help her in any way he can. But there are times when a person can’t do anything.
At the moment, all he can do for her is be there when she needs him.
