Fans of Little People, Big World love to know what’s going on in the lives of Tori and Zach Roloff, even between seasons.
But not everything they see makes them happy. Not of the couple or how they raise their kids.
Fans said earlier this summer that Tori and Zach were putting their children in danger.
Now, they are especially worried about 1-year-old Josiah. And Tori can no longer stand them.

On Friday, August 4, Tori Roloff used her Instagram Story to show a small part of her family life.
She also had a theory to explain it.
She said that Josiah, her 15-month-old son, had climbed up the steps of his older brother’s bunk bed. And he did it all on his own. Amazing!

“You mean to tell me that you can climb a ladder and write while you’re on it, but you can’t walk?” she inquired.
“He’s holding out,” Tori wrote in her paper about Josiah’s ability to move.

It’s normal for kids to grow up at different speeds.
Some people will just say one or two words over and over. Some babies may be able to say a full sentence before they can say their second word.
In the same way, no two babies are the same when it comes to walking and crawling. And a young child feels more stable on a ladder than on the ground.

Instead, everyone was talking about what Josiah had done, with or without Tori’s permission.
He had climbed up a ladder on a bunk bed. Especially for a one-year-old, a fall from that could be very bad.

Tori read all of the comments. Later that same day, she answered.
She started by saying, “I don’t know why it still surprises me how many “perfect parents” there are on Instagram.”
“Because,” Tori said, “a lot of people are coming at me because I let my one-year-old climb a ladder.”

“And you never let them do anything?” she asked.
“Because that’s what it seems like,” Tori said to explain her question.

As she continued with her message, she kept saying that she wanted her fans and followers to “calm down.”
Tori said, “I just want to say thank you for all the tips you guys leave in my DMs.”
We don’t know for sure if that last bit was meant to be funny or not. The clues in the story suggest that it is.

There is a lot going on here. We don’t know if Josiah did this without taking care or having someone watch him.
This is not like when Audrey and Jeremy put their kids in danger by letting them play near dangerous farm equipment and natural dangers. And, unlike her in-laws, Tori doesn’t have a clear goal in mind when she lets Josiah climb a ladder.
Kids sometimes fall. We do everything we can to make sure it doesn’t happen often and that the falls are safe. But they do occur. That’s part of being a person sometimes.
