The cast of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14 went home after last week’s awkward trip to the Hamptons.
It was almost Thanksgiving. Most of them would be with family for the holiday.
Not everybody, though. Brynn Whitfield had never felt like she was part of a family. She usually spends Thanksgiving with one of her exes.
She talked about how she was neglected and abused when she was young. So, when she was still a baby, she went to live with her grandmother.

As Season 14 Episode 4 of The Real Housewives of New York City started, the Housewives were getting up in the Hamptons.
It was the morning of their last day at Erin “Stop the Steal” Lichy’s house in the Hamptons.
Even though Brynn Whitfield and their host had fights, it was clear that they also had good times.

After jokes that made it sound like they had a wild tryst (Brynn is really growing on me, by the way), it’s time for breakfast.
That means Erin can finally make everyone shakshuka.

Jenna Lyons offers to slice tomatoes for their host’s famous shakshuka, even though she is wearing what her castmates call “a half a million dollars’ worth of jewelry.” (Bravo!) It was best that she didn’t get there the other morning.
Shakshuka is mostly made out of tomatoes and eggs.
Putting a lot of natural acids into your stomach right before a workout is a bad idea.

But anyone who likes the ingredients can see that it’s a great breakfast food.
And Ubah Hassan gave some of her hot sauces to anyone who wanted them to add more flavor.
Yes, the Housewives usually talk about their brands and products on the show. Bravo gives them… because their contracts usually give them a share of the Housewife’s profits.

Brynn Whitfield says, “Put it in my mouth.” We think that this screenshot will show up on the internet without any mention of shakshuka. (Bravo!) It seemed like Sai De Silva was the only Housewife who wasn’t crazy about the shakshuka.
She didn’t insult Erin; she just thought the strange dish could have been a little better.
But soon, the women were talking about the Thanksgiving holiday that was coming up.

But not everyone plans or does the same things for Thanksgiving.
Some people complained about annoying in-laws, but Brynn said she would welcome a bossy mother-in-law.
She told the other people on the show, “I’ve never had a real family.” Brynn’s childhood was very hard.

Not to meet someone. She will spend Thanksgiving with their family so she won’t be alone.
Brynn has her brother as a family member. It looks like that’s all.

Gideon is a hottie with good looks. Brynn likes him as an ex, and she worries that if she had married him, they would be divorced now.
Her co-stars seem to like him a lot. They see how much he loves her, and some of them would like to see them get back together.

Brynn used hair relaxers for a long time. They have hurt her hair health in a way that won’t go away.
What’s up? She was raised by her white grandmother as a mixed-race child in Indiana. She went to a school where everyone else was white.

Brynn Whitfield talks to her hairdresser every week about how her hair made her stand out as a child in an all-white school. The last time Brynn saw her parents was when she was a baby. It worked out well.
She also never met any of her father’s relatives. And her grandmother didn’t know what to do with her hair.
So, the only time Brynn met Black people who weren’t her siblings was when she went to the hair salon owned by a friend of her grandmother’s.

Sai thought about Brynn on Thanksgiving Day.
She told her husband that maybe they should all get together for Friendsgiving. After Thanksgiving this time.
But this wouldn’t just be a Thanksgiving for Housewives. This is what we call a Brynnsgiving.

She called Brynn from the kitchen and told her about the idea.
(In reality, like so many of these phone calls on reality TV, they probably had already decided on the idea. That’s what I would do)
It’s such a nice thought. Brynn was very moved. The husband of Sai was all for it. (He also suggested they give Jessel more time.)

It was time for Brynnsgiving.
As the women gathered at Sai’s house for the party, Brynn showed off her backless dress and welcomed everyone.
But not everything was fun. As she talked more about her childhood, things got sadder.

Her mom had her when she was a teenager. He was older than her. No matter what was going on with her parents, it was terrible for her.
Brynn told what she knew for sure about how she was treated as a baby. It was about more than just being very poor, that was a part of it.

Lack of care and abuse. So, when she was only 6 months old, she, her brother, and her sister moved in with her grandmother.
Brynn started to cry, which was only natural. Several of her co-stars did, too. The episode ended here, with a tease for “To Be Continued.”
