CR7 was open with Piers Morgan last week, explaining what it was like to be overtaken with both joy and grief after welcoming his baby girl while also mourning the loss of his son.
“It’s definitely the worst moment in my life since my father died,” Ronaldo admitted.

“When you have a child, you expect everything to be normal,” Cristiano continued. “And it’s difficult when you have that problem. As humans, Georgina and I had some difficult moments since we don’t understand why this occurred to us. To be honest, understanding what was going on in that period of our lives was quite tough.”
Ronaldo stated that despite his pain, soccer continued to demand his time… which was another challenge he faced during his recovery.
CR7 claims that time was difficult to understand… since he was overjoyed to welcome Bella Esmeralda into the world while still suffering the loss.
“I try to explain to my family and close friends sometimes,” Ronaldo added. “They say, ‘I’ve never felt so pleased and so sad at the same time.'”
“It’s difficult to express — extremely difficult — You’re not sure if you should cry or smile since you’re not sure how to react to it. To be honest, you don’t know what to do.”
