Please, Todd Chrisley wants to go home.
The former USA Network star isn’t doing very well in prison today. He was found guilty of multiple types of financial fraud in July 2022.
As was already known, Chrisley thinks he is being mistreated as a prisoner at FPC Pensacola in Florida. His lawyer and his children have recently said he is being harassed by other prisoners and possibly even by prison staff.

Savannah Chrisley and her brother, Chase, said on the most recent episode of her Unlocked podcast that their parents are dealing with extreme heat, black mold, and even snakes next to Julie’s bed.
Savannah said on air that Julie Chrisley had to deal with “rattlesnakes just casually slithering on the floor in front of her” at FMC Lexington, Kentucky, where she is serving a seven-plus-year sentence for similar financial crimes.

“He turned it in, but the person in charge of managing it and processing it decided she didn’t want to do that. “She chose not to do it,” says Surgent.
He went on to say that this was an odd way to handle an official request and that he thought it was unfair.

Surgent told People he and Julie are “living in squalor in 100-degree heat” behind these federal walls. He also said in their cells, “there’s no air conditioning, nothing.”
In addition to the application for home confinement, both stars started the process to appeal their case in December before they went to jail in January to start their combined 19-year prison sentence for tax fraud.

In this scene from their reality show, Julie and Todd Chrisley may be all smiles. But their life is terrible now. Todd and Julie have been married since 1996. In June 2022, after a trial that lasted several weeks, they were found guilty of tax evasion, bank fraud, and plotting to cheat the IRS.
At the time, prosecutors said that the rich reality stars lied on documents to get $30 million in bank loans… When Todd Chrisley filed for bankruptcy in 2012, he was more than $20 million in debt, which he did not pay.
They also hid from the IRS the millions of dollars they had made from the program we discussed.
Both have said that they are not guilty.

Todd said this on the last episode of his podcast before he went to jail:”The legal system is very complicated. We’ve never been a part of it, so we’re still learning and don’t know much about it. That’s why we have so many lawyers working for us.
“All you can do is hope and pray to God that when one part of the court system fails, the next level, the appellate court, will see the mistakes and try to fix them.”
Surgent did talk to people about this appeal.
“We argued very strongly that their constitutional rights had been violated and not given a fair hearing. He said, “It’s all there in black and white.”
“And where they both live, he in Pensacola and she in Lexington, Kentucky, is a complete and utter mess.
