Meghan Markle is now one of the most well-known women in the world.
But not too long ago, Meghan was just another struggling actress in Hollywood trying to make a name for herself.
With her role on the USA legal drama Suits, the future duchess kind of broke through.
But the show wasn’t a big hit, and Meghan wouldn’t become a household name until she started dating Prince Harry.

But something unexpected has happened in the last few months.
Suits is getting a second chance at life on Netflix and Peacock, where it has become a surprise hit.
It seems like younger people have found the show and fallen in love with it, which is being compared to how The Office came back to life a few years ago.

Since Suits has become popular again, it’s unsurprising that people are talking about a possible reboot.
And because of those rumors, people have talked about Meghan returning to the show.
But in a recent interview with TV Line, the show’s executive producer Gene Klein said it’s unlikely that the Duchess of Sussex will play Rachel Zane again.

Klein told the outlet, “I’d be surprised if we could find a way to do a reunion, but I’d be happy if we did because when you do a show for that long, everyone becomes such good friends.”
“I would think that’s impossible,” he said next.
Klein then said that he doesn’t know why the show’s popularity has recently gone up, but he thinks it’s all because of Meghan.

“In this day and age of reboots, reunions, and all sorts of other things, I’m expecting a call at some point,” he said.
“But I don’t know of any important talks. It’s just one of those things that, in this day and age, you wouldn’t be surprised if someone called you someday. But so far, I don’t know of anything.”
Klein says that it’s interesting that this is the first time that Meghan’s fame has made the show more popular.

“There’s no question that [Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry] has made us more well-known,” he said.
“All we really get are linear TV ratings, and [the romance] didn’t change those as much, but the show’s popularity has exploded,” he said.
“It’s great when someone in your cast meets someone they like and falls in love, no matter how famous they are.”

Klein said at the time that Meghan’s new relationship would make it hard for her to come back to the show because it would make “logistics” and “security” harder.
Meghan is more well-known than ever now, so it’s probably safe to say that she won’t be on the set of Suits any time soon.

Still, there have been rumors in the past few weeks that Meghan may return to acting as the main character in a sequel to the 1992 hit movie The Bodyguard, which starred Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston.
Costner says that the part was written for Princess Diana before she passed away.
No matter what happens next, the news that Suits is becoming more popular must be a relief for Meghan and Harry, who have been getting a lot of bad press over the past three months.
Maybe the Sussexes’ long-awaited return is just around the corner!
