The numbers for Tuesday’s estimated $1.1 billion Mega Millions jackpot have been drawn. This would be one of the biggest prizes in the lottery’s history.

The numbers are 8, 24, 30, 45, 61, and a gold Mega Ball with 12.

The lottery has said that if the jackpot is won, it could be the fourth-largest prize in the history of Mega Millions.

Mega Millions said that a grand prize winner could choose to get annual payments over 29 years or take a lump sum of about $550,2 million.

After no one matched all six numbers drawn Friday night, the jackpot exceeded $1 billion. Mega Millions says Tuesday’s drawing will be the 30th since the jackpot was last won in New York on April 18.

Even though no one won the jackpot on Friday, there were still a lot of big winners in the drawing. One ticket bought in Pennsylvania won $5 million by matching the first five numbers and turning on the optional Megaplier, which costs an extra $1 and is available in most states.

Four more $1 million winning tickets were sold in Arizona, California, New York, and Pennsylvania. These tickets matched the first five numbers.

The biggest Mega Millions jackpot was won in South Carolina in 2018 for $1.537 billion. After that comes a $1.348 billion ticket sold in Maine in January and a $1.337 billion prize won in July last year.

Before Tuesday night’s drawing, a $1.05 billion prize won by a ticket sold in Michigan in 2021 was in fourth place on the Mega Millions list.

The huge prize for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing comes after a Los Angeles convenience store sold a Powerball ticket that matched all the numbers to win a $1.08 billion jackpot, the third-largest.
