In the same way that terrible events like the assassination of John F. Kennedy changed American society for good, the effects of Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss might keep this great country in trouble for many years to come.
If you’ve been a fan for a long time, you know that Vanderpump Rules seemed to be ending before the Sandoval gave it a new lease on life.
Vanderpump’s ratings went up after the scandal, and the show was renewed for an eleventh season.
But we may be about to have too much of a good thing…

This week, Lala Kent confirmed that the long-rumored Vanderpump spin-off series with Jax Taylor, Stassi Schroeder, and Kristen Doute is happening.
Lala says that not only is the project going ahead, but filming starts this week!
This week, Kent said on Amazon Live, “It’s definitely happening, and I think they’ll start this week.”

“It’s so strange that they have their own show and aren’t on ours,” she said.
“We aren’t on their show right now. We’re all best friends, so we should all be on the same show.”
Yes, it is strange that Jax, Stassi, and Kristen are filming for a show that isn’t Vanderpump Rules.
But the fact that the unholy trinity is back on Bravo is even stranger.

You may remember that back in 2020, Stassi and Kristen were fired because of a messy race scandal.
The friends were accused of getting even with their only Black co-star, Faith Stowers, by calling the police on her.
Fans pointed out that both Jax and his wife Brittany Cartwright, did things that were bad, so the couple was fired.

Doute said on a recent episode of the Hollywood Raw podcast, “I thought I understood racism, but now I’m really learning about unconscious bias.”
“Learn about how to fight racism. I think it’s so important to learn about what we can do locally to really make changes and to work in your community to make those changes.

As for Jax and Brittany, it’s not clear if they’ve learned anything, but the Cauchis are once again Bravo celebrities, whether they like it or not.
We have to reluctantly admit that Jax is one of the most chaotically entertaining reality stars in the genre’s history.
He says that having a child has helped him calm down a lot, but

We can only hope that some part of the old Jax is still there.
Either way, it looks like he has used his old enemy Tom Sandoval’s popularity, to get back into the limelight.
