Zendaya has finally spoken out—about a real tragedy.
The Emmy winner wrote an emotional post on Instagram on Tuesday about her “brother” Angus Cloud and how much happiness he brought her before he was found dead this week at 25.
As was already known, Cloud died at his family’s home in Oakland, California, on Monday.
People close to the actor say that he has been having trouble with his mental health ever since his father died.

Zendaya wrote in the caption of a black-and-white photo of Cloud, “Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor).”
“I’m so glad I got to know him in this life, call him my brother, see his warm, kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling just thinking about it).”
She went on like this:
“I know that people often use the phrase “they could light up any room” to describe people they love, but let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like that to be how I remember him.
“For all the light, love, and joy he never stopped giving us. I’ll treasure every second.”

Cloud’s first role was as Fezco on the HBO show Euphoria, where he quickly became a fan favorite.
His family said that he had died in a statement that read:
“We had to say goodbye to a wonderful person today with a very heavy heart. Angus was special to all of us in so many ways: as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son.
No reason for death has been given.

But, according to multiple reports, the Euphoria star’s mother called 911 on Monday morning to report a “possible overdose,” saying that her son didn’t have a pulse.
Later, Cloud was said to be dead at the scene.
Zendaya, on the other hand, ended her social media post with a kind message to Cloud’s family:
“At this time, my heart goes out to his mother and family. Please be kind and patient with them, as grief looks different for everyone.”

Cloud died not long after he and his family laid to rest his father, Conor Hickey in Ireland. Conor died in May after a short illness.
“He buried his father last week and was very sad about it,” his family said in a statement.
“The only thing that makes us feel better is that Angus is back with his best friend, his dad.”

On social media, Javon Walton, who played Cloud’s brother on-screen, also praised his HBO co-star.
“Rest easy brother,” he wrote on Instagram on Monday, along with a photo of the two of them that he posted to his Instagram Story.
He wrote “Forever family” under the picture.

In its own statement, HBO said it was “extremely saddened” to hear about Cloud’s death. The company wrote on social media:
“He had a lot of skills and was loved by everyone at HBO and Euphoria. During this hard time, we send our deepest condolences to his friends and family.”
We continue to send Angus Cloud’s family, friends, and loved ones our deepest condolences.
May he finally be at peace?
