Tammy Slaton’s Instagram account has been updated for the first time in almost a month.
On August 2, the 1000-Lb Sisters star posted a few selfies online, mostly just looking at the camera and smirking slightly.
Even though Slaton didn’t add a caption to this carousel, fans took it as a sign that Tammy is doing the best she can right now.
It’s interesting that Tammy sent these photos all over the Internet so soon after burying her husband in Kentucky.

This past weekend, Caleb Willingham’s funeral was held, and Tammy was there with her family and friends.
In November of 2022, Slaton and Willingham got married right outside the rehab center where they had met earlier that year.
On June 30, though, Caleb’s body was found.
In the weeks since, no one has said what caused Willingham’s death, but there have been reports that he was struggling a lot with his weight at the time of his death.

A week after he confirmed Willingham’s death, Slaton put up a meme that said:
“Even though we don’t always talk. Just because you don’t live close. I think about you all day long. I’m happy to call you a friend.”
This was her last post before she posted the above and below selfies.
At the time of Willinga’s death, the couple was said to have grown apart, but Tammy later told People Magazine that Caleb was “my best friend and I loved him very much.”

“When I met Caleb, he became my guardian angel, and now he is looking out for me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you give us privacy at this time.”
This spring, in a now-deleted Facebook post, Willingham said that Tammy made the decision to break up. He told his Facebook friends at the time:
“I’m sad, mad, confused, and lonely, even though there are other people around. We appreciate your love, prayers, and help.”

Amanda, Tammy’s sister-in-law, was the first person to confirm Willingham’s death.
Amanda wrote on Facebook very early Saturday morning, “Please whisper a prayer for our family and all of Caleb’s family.” “Caleb Willingham is seated at Jesus’ feet. Heaven has a winner!”
She also:
“I didn’t get to spend much time with him, but the messages he sent me got me through a lot of hard times.
“I’m so grateful for how much he loved my sister and everyone else he met.”

When the news came out that Willingham had died, TLC put out the following statement:
“It makes us very sad to hear that Caleb Willingham has died.
“Our thoughts are with Tammy, his family, and friends during this hard time.”
